Krzysztof Starnawski

Krzysztof Starnawski – born in 1967, spent most time on the road. He is an explorer and a rescuer. He has impressive achievements in cave diving, in both depth – 181 meters into the Czech Hranicka Propast, as well as length – 14 km together with Leszek Czarnecki – a world record – along the Mexican system of Dos Ojos caves. He also has pioneering achievements in the siphons of the Tatra caves. For several years, he has been filming underwater, especially during the many discovery expeditions to shipwrecks. He is an instructor of climbing, mountaineering, cave climbing, diving and cave diving, skiing and sailing, and the head of a mountain school, 'W Przestrzeni'.

He has led the canyoning Lion's Journey and competed in adventure races, including the Eco Challenge and Adrenalin Rush. In addition, he is a member of the Tatra Voluntary Rescue Service, and is currently developing in the direction of underwater cave rescue. Any attempt to overwhelm the reader with the number and importance of his achievements, even if they make the massive Colossus of Wieliczka salt, which he won in 1999 for the "Stunt of the Year" – a deep dive in Hranicka Propast, lightweight in comparison, absolutely does not exhaust the definition of this unique character.

He took part in the following expeditions:
Mexico 2005 and 2009, North Pole 2006, The Bikini Atoll 2006 and 2007, Siberia 2007, Micronesia 2010 and Philippines 2016.
